Where is the difference between c-max U2 and s-max D 160?
c-max U2 was designed for professional use by ambulances or driving services. It is foldable thus saving space. Holding devices for vehicles are available as accessories. c-max U2 is available in two variations, either for a maximum load of 140 kg or 160 kg.
The device successfully passed the DIN EN 1789 (10G Test).
c-max U2 is a stair climber with integrated seat, i.e. nothing has to be assembled, the device is immediately ready to use.
s-max D 160 is a stair climber that is designed to be attached to wheelchairs or carrier chairs.
For ambulances or driving services we provided an adaption to the carrier chair, type ALS 300 by the company Utila. 95% of commercially available wheel-chairs can be equipped with s-max.
The wheel- or carrier chair is equipped with a holding device into which the stair climber is inserted. It takes approx. 1 minute to unload the device from the ambulance and adapt it to the chair. The s-max is also available in 2 versions, for a top load of either 120kg or 160 kg. For ambulances the 160 kg version is standard.
